The Book of Everything

Adapted by Richard Tulloch from the novel by Guus Kuiier
Directed by Ryan Bentley

Thomas is nine years old, and he can see things that nobody else can see: tropical fish leaping about the Amsterdam canals, a hailstorm of frogs, and even a very talkative Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

He also sees his unhappy family, his violent father, and the domestic pain that lingers long after the war is over. He writes down all of this in his book.

Most importantly, he carefully records his greatest determination: "When I grow up, I'm going to be happy:'

In The Book of Everything, the generosities of imagination and love are pitted against ignorance, oppression and fear. This Australian adaptation took the world by storm as a daring, radiant piece of ensemble theatre, and was written for everyone's starry-eyed inner child.

Suitable for children aged 9 to 90.

By arrangement with The Cameron Creswell Agency Pty Ltd.
