“…Beware the Ides of March”
William Shakespeare’s tragedy – ‘Julius Caesar’ is brought to life in a forgotten inner Geelong CBD laneway: Short’s Place, this Labor Day long weekend - Sat 11th & Sun 12th March, 2017. A step back in time to the glorious Rome of old, with a play that’s raw, breathless and as blood soaked as any classic tale. With an all female cast, it clearly promises at least one certainty – Caesar will die tonight! Told by six tenacious women, this story explores a world driven by ambition, loyalty and betrayal glaringly heightened within the walls of the gritty and secluded CBD backdrop.
Two evening shows: 7pm – 8.30pm, plus a Sunday matinee if evening shows are sold out, (times TBC).
General Admission tickets are $45 + $3.20 Booking Fee (Total $48.20), and
