Love, Love, Love

Written by Mark Bartlett

Baby boomers beware: this sharp-witted play is all about you and your children…and it’s not all good

Kenneth and Sandra meet in 1967 on the night of the first global TV show on which the Beatles sang All You Need Is Love’ he’s a drunken sponger, she’s a stoned free spirit, and they hit it off immediatelyFast-forward to 1990 and they are comfortably off, middle-class but curiously negligent towards their two children; and facing the wreckage of their marriage.

Spanning 40 years Love, Love, Love questions whether the baby boomer generation is to blame for the debt-ridden and adrift generation of their children, now adults but far from stable and settled. It lets loose on the baby boomer generation, but relishes their bygone glory.

A tale that embraces romance, treachery, fidelity and infidelity. And, of course, its funny.
