Our vision in the short term is to inspire 100 women who come together to learn, grow and, through the arts, create a lasting and life-changing impact on Geelong.
Our collective funds will be used to support one major social change program each year by expanding GPAC’s Arts for Life Endowment Fund. Short Black Opera is one example.
As a member you will be invited to exclusive tailored events, where you will meet and hear from dynamic Australian artists, cultural leaders and community members explaining the development and impact of these programs and the arts in general.
Many women have told us they want to make more of a difference in their community, and learn how to be more strategic, and effective while building stronger alliances to improve the lives of others in our region.
And a connection with GPAC is the perfect way to do this.
At GPAC it is not just about the performance but a range of cultural programs directed at the health and wellbeing of our community.
The GPAC Arts for Life Giving Circle is based on the growing trend of giving circles here in Australia and overseas.
As participatory forms of philanthropy, members pool their funds and come together to build support and amplify the impact of key programs.
Membership is open to all women in Geelong and across the region. Women who join before the launch will be recognised as ‘Foundation Members’.
Membership is $500 per year, which can be paid either annually or in monthly direct debit instalments of $41.66 per month.
Your membership is fully tax deductible.
