Geelong Performing Arts Centre welcomes back Rachael Beck to the Playhouse stage this September with her stunning and critically acclaimed show This Girl.
A multi-award winning theatre star, Rachael is a familiar face to Geelong audiences, having performed here in recent years with David Hobson in Both Sides and with Ian Stenlake in Love Letters.
Rachael is well-known for her theatre roles including Truly Scrumptious in the national tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and as Belle opposite Hugh Jackman in Beauty and the Beast. She also has a long list of television credits including City Homicide, Stingers, Mercury, The Feds, This Man This Woman, GP,Flying Doctors, Home & Away and Hey Dad.
This Girl is presented as part of the Musical Mornings concert series, supported by Tuckers Funeral and Bereavement Services.
It’s an intimate journey through her life and career told in song and stories, encompassing many diverse music styles and includes songs from her album This Girl. Audiences will hear popular hits Running Up That Hill, State Of The Heart, Only Girl In The World, and Make You Feel My Love.
Rachael will perform two concerts as part of Musical Mornings,at 10.30am on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th September. Concerts include free morning tea before the show.
