GPAC’s Musical Mornings continues to delight for the rest of the year with more fabulous productions and popular stars.

The season opens in August with the ‘Syncopators’ chronicling the musical life of one of the most popular recording artists of the 20th Century, in A Tribute to Bing Crosby.

Audiences will enjoy a range of hits from this prolific performer, commencing with Crosby's stint as one of the ‘Rhythm Boys’, then through his crooning years in the 30s and 40s where he became a household name, together with a couple of numbers from films the ‘Road to…’ and ‘High Society’ with Louis Armstrong.

There will be two performances of A Tribute to Bing Crosby, at 10.30am on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd of August.

Then in September the multi award winning music theatre star Rachael Beck will bring her stunning and critically acclaimed show This Girl to The Playhouse stage. In October it’s The Peter Allen Songbook, a tribute to a truly great Australian, with many great songs from Peter Allen and his friends, including hits from Judy Garland and Liza Minelli.

The critically acclaimed and award winning Choir of Hard Knocks will be brought to the stage by Jonathan Welch AM in November, and as always the season will finish on a festive note with the Christmas Extravaganza by the Gaslight Company.

Season Two subscriptions are now on sale, saving $10 off the single ticket price of all five shows. Phone the GPAC Box Office on 5225 1200 to arrange your subscription.

Musical Mornings concerts are sponsored by Tuckers Funeral and Bereavement Services and include free morning tea before the show.
